Are you fit tested?

Fees for Intervention came into effect from 1st October 2012, and since that time we’ve all been aware that face-fit testing is an easy goal for the HSE to start racking up fines and now have an ‘income’ of somewhere between £1m- £2m per month from FFI. Construction accounts for about £500,000 per month.

What is now coming to light, however, is the process the HSE uses to establish the reliability of Face-Fit Testing. They do not simply enquire as to whether the operative has undergone Face-Fit Testing. They also ask to see the records and the fees are clocking up if they are not readily available.
